Poonch (J&K), Sep 17 (ANI): Krishi Vigyan Kendra distributed 5,000 chicks among 150 schedule tribe (ST) farmers in Poonch. Chicks were distributed under central government scheme schedule tribe components. The farmers of Poonch appreciated government for the scheme. The farmers from different villages of Poonch were invited to get free chicks. Within the period of last six months Poonch’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra distributed more than 20,000 chicks among the schedule tribe farmers of Poonch district.
