Dantewada (Chhattisgarh), Sep 08 (ANI): In yet another act of barbarism, Naxals stabbed their former companion to death at Cholnar Village in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, just four days after he surrendered himself to police. The deceased identified as Podia Wadde had been a Naxalite for more than two decades and recently left the group so that he can lead a better life with his family, but before this could happen, he was kidnapped and brutally murdered by Naxals. A large number of misled tribal youth, who earlier joined the Naxal outfits, have realized the futility of violence and are gradually abandoning arms in order to be part of the mainstream. Baffled by their step, Naxalites have been targeting these people so as to instill a sense of fear inside their own cadre and prevent them from leaving.
