Srinagar (J&K), Sep 05 (ANI): National Conference patriarch Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said that the party will not contest in upcoming Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir unless Central and State Government clear their stand on Article 35A. Former J&K CM also demanded the government to take effective steps for protection of the article. Article 35A empowers special rights and privileges to ‘permanent residents’ of the state.
