Rafale Deal: PM Modi should resign, morally not fit to hold office, says Kharge

Bengaluru, Sep 22 (ANI): After the former French President Francois Hollande revealed last night that the French government was in no manner involved in the choice of Indian industrial partners for the Rafale deal, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resign from his office. Kharge said, “When the former French President himself is affirming to our claims of a scam in the deal, then what can be a greater proof to this. So, I demand that he (Narendra Modi) should immediately resign from his office. He is morally not fit to hold the office of Prime Minister.” Former President of France, Francois Hollande on September 21 told a French journal that the Indian government proposed Anil Ambani’s Reliance Defence as the partner for the 36 Rafale jet deal.
