president and former chief minister Farooq Abdullah said that every election has divided India instead of uniting it since independence. “We fight for temples and mosques, we don’t fight for people. We lie,we fear that if we’re honest, we won’t win. We’re wrong. You’ve to tell them that you can’t do things beyond a certain point,” said Abdullah. “Politics isn’t bad, politicians can be bad. Many of us join politics for service and many of us join politics for making money. God doesn’t live in temples, mosques or gurudwaras, he lives in people and if you serve people you’re serving God: Former J-K CM F.Abdullah in Delhi,” he added.
