Students, teachers elated after meeting PM Modi during ‘Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan’

New Delhi, Sep 15 (ANI): Students and teachers of Baba Sahib Dr. Ambedkar Higher Secondary School in Delhi’s Paharganj were elated after they met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during ‘Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan’ on Saturday. PM Modi’s presence at the school encouraged students and teachers alike to take forward the cleanliness drive. Rajbhar Singh Bhandari, Head of School, Baba Sahib Dr. Ambedkar Higher Secondary School said, “We did not know about Prime Minister’s arrival. We were shocked but PM Modi’s presence excited us and the way he came to our school for his movement was really encouraging. The students felt really happy. We always talk about ‘Swachhta’ in our school.” An excited student said, “We felt really happy after meeting the Prime Minister. He told us to keep the country clean and also our school. He also told us to maintain cleanliness in our surroundings and wherever we see garbage, we should throw it in the dustbin.” PM Modi swept and cleaned the premises of the school in Delhi’s Paharganj as a part of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan’. At the school, the PM interacted with students at the school.
