These projects will add one more link to our cross border connectivity: PM Modi

New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated multiple projects between India and Bangladesh jointly with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina via video conferencing. While inaugurating the projects, the Prime Minister said, “1.16 Gigawatt will be supplied to Bangladesh from India. This jump from megawatt to gigawatt is a golden chapter in India-Bangladesh relations.” “These rail projects will add one more link to our cross border connectivity,” PM Narendra Modi added. Both the Prime Ministers inaugurated 500 MW additional power supply from India to Bangladesh through Baharampur. Two rail projects, Kulaura-Shahbazpur section rehabilitation of Bangladesh Railway and Akhaura-Agartala duel gauge rail connectivity were too inaugurated by both the Prime Ministers jointly.
