Hyderabad, Sep 20 (ANI): In a shocking incident, a father brutally attacked his daughter and son-in-law in broad day-light in Hyderabad. It was an attempt of revenge because the daughter married a man from another caste. The victims were identified as 20-year-old Madhavi and 24-year-old Navdeep who married on September 12. Their inter-caste marriage did not go down well with the girl’s father who stabbed the duo several times with a sickle in the middle of a road. The two were shifted to a local hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case under section 307 IPC and SC/ST Atrocities Act as the boy belongs the Scheduled Caste.The accused has been arrested.
