Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), Sep 25 (ANI): Wreath laying ceremony of Lance Naik Sandeep Singh was performed in Srinagar on Tuesday. Singh lost his life in action during an anti-infiltration operation in Jammu & Kashmir’s Tangdhar sector on September 24. He was a part of the Indian Army’s Special Forces that carried out the surgical strikes on militant bunkers along the Line of Control in Pakistan in 2016. The 30-year-old soldier, who is survived by his wife and a five-year-old-son, killed two infiltrators at close range before he succumbed to injuries.
