New Delhi, Oct 06 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat addressed a press conference and announced the date of the assembly election in different states. Congress senior leader and Chhattisgarh Congress in-charge PL Punia said when Election Commissioner went to Raipur, Congress suggested single-phase election but Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) suggested two phase election. “This decision has been taken to allow misuse of power. But we trust people and they trust us,” Punia said. Punia also emphasised that they will form next government in Chhattisgarh.
