Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), Oct 24 (ANI): Two terrorists have been neutralized by the Army on Wednesday in Nowgam encounter. No collateral damage took place. However, two army personnel have been injured. Deputy Inspector General of Central Kashmir VK Birdi said, “We launched a cordon and search operation of 50 RR and CRPF also joined in. While searches were on, they fired upon a search party. Encounter went on and two terrorists have been neutralized. In a law and order situation, people are pelting stones. Militants are being identified. Two personnel have been injured.” An exchange of fire started between terrorists and security forces on the outskirts of Srinagar.
