Creating capacity to not lag behind in space tourism: ISRO Chief

Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir), Oct 12 (ANI): Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K Sivan said that India will create capacity for space tourism which is an emerging area and will demonstrate its capability to go to space. Talking about the space tourim, Sivan said, “Before space tourism, we need to build the capacity to go to space and come back. PM made an announcement about the Gaganyaan mission to commemorate 75 yrs of India’s independence in 2022. India will demonstrate its capability to go to space and come back. This is an emerging area, we are creating capacity for it, so that we do not lag behind.”
