Pathanamthitta (Kerala), Oct 21 (ANI): As part of the temple ritual in Kerala, devotees performed Panchari Melam at Sannidhanam in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta on Sunday. The performance is done inside the temple premises. The ritual includes playing of five musical instruments namely, chenda, ilathalam, kombu and kuzhal. It is a percussion ensemble that is performed for more than four hours. This Melam is performed by a group of more than a hundred performers handling these instruments.
