Devotees throng Sabarimala temple amid heavy rainfall

Pathanamthitta (Kerala), Oct 20 (ANI): Devotees thronged Sabarimala temple to offer prayers amid heavy rainfall in Kerala. Devotees climbed the sacred Pathinettam Padi to enter the Sabarimala temple. The devotees have thronged the temple since its gates were opened on October 17. However, despite Supreme Court’s verdict allowing entry of women in the temple, they were prevented by some Hindu groups protesting against the Supreme Court’s verdict. Amidst heavy rains, Pampa River was overflowed which has caused the trek to Sabarimala to block.
