Jaipur (Rajasthan), October 5 (ANI): With a vision to make Rajasthan self reliant in terms of water crisis, “Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan” (MJSA) was launched by Rajasthan Government in 2016 to conserve rain water. Now this campaign is showing some tremendous results. Encouraged by the success of the campaign, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje recently launched the 4th phase of the campaign in the programme organised in Jaipur. 4000 villages have been selected for constructions of water structures in the fourth phase so that rainwater can be conserved in an efficient manner. On the Occasion, Chief Minister said, “Water level of 4.66 feet has increased in the villages included in the earlier phases. 63 percent of the hand pumps have been revived and 20 percent of the tube wells have become active again. Water supply through tanker has also decreased by 56 percent.” During the progamme, CM Raje also launched the coffee table book on the success of the MJSA, a short film and water Grid Portal.
