Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Oct 19 (ANI): People in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun thronged at parade ground to witness the occasion. A 60-feet Ravana effigy was burnt during the procession. People across the country celebrated Dussehra festival by burning effigies of Ravana. The occasion is seen as the day when Lord Rama defeated Ravana, the day of victory of good over evil.
