Mayurbhanj (Odisha), Oct 30 (ANI): Despite several housing and welfare schemes by State and Central Governments, a poor family in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj lives under extreme poverty. They live in a hut with polythene roof since last 35 years. Jyashna Mukhi, a family member said that several promises have been made by politicians but nobody helped them. Her husband died a few days ago due to poverty and lack of proper medical care. Jyashna’s son work as a helper in a local shop. He gets Rs 70 per day. “Rs 70 is only what we have to keep our family running”, said Jyashna. “Several Governments have come and gone, but we didn’t even get a single polythene from them”, she added.
