Former Delhi CM Madan Lal Khurana dies at 82

New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana died at the age of 82 on Saturday due to prolonged illness. Khurana was in coma from past few weeks after suffering a brain stroke. Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari arrived at Khurana’s residence to pay his condolences. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) member and Bharatiya Janata Party leader served as Delhi’s CM from 1993 to 1996. He also served as Governor of Rajasthan in 2004. Madan Khurana was a teacher at Delhi University’s PGDAV College before entering politics. He along with several other leaders formed Delhi chapter of Jan Sangh in 1960s.
