Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Oct 22 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister cleared the air on reports of changing name of state’s capital Shimla to ‘Shyamala’. “Let me make it clear that the government is not considering proposal to rename Shimla as ‘Shyamala’. We had received a suggestion to rename Shimla and it is our duty to hear all suggestions”, said CM Thakur to ANI. The campaign of renaming the hill city has been made by right wing Hindu groups and they submitted a proposal to Himachal government demanding the change in name.
