Bhatinda (Punjab), Oct 13 (ANI): Union Minster of Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal criticised the state government on the issue of stubble burning. She urged the state government to set up industries to generate electricity with stubble which can solve the problems of farmers. She said that the Centre has given money to state for buying machines for stubble because of which there would be no need for stubble burning. CM should set up industries to generate electricity with stubble. She further said that the government should set up these industries so that the stubble can be sold and farmers can be benefitted from this and it could also be used for electricity. The government has put a lot of restrictions on farmers. She also accused the state government of making harsh policies due to which 600-700 farmers have committed suicide.
