J&K municipal polls: BJP workers celebrate party’s lead

Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir), Oct 20 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers celebrated after the party was seen leading over Congress and other parties as per the preliminary results of six districts. BJP state president Ravinder Raina expressed happiness on Saturday over the party’s lead in the municipal elections held in the state. Raina said, “People have given BJP is winning with overwhelming majority in the elections. This win belongs to the people of the state and BJP workers. I thank all the people for their support.” BJP candidates registered a clean sweep in the Devasar Municipal Committee, winning all eight wards.
