New Delhi, Oct 05 (ANI): Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at his residence in New Delhi on Friday. The Karnataka CM asked for Centre’s assistance for relief work and rebuilding the damaged infrastructure in the flood-hit areas of Karnataka. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda also attended the meeting. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured CM Kumaraswamy-led delegation that the Centre would send two teams of officers to assess the damages. The delegation led by Kumaraswamy also urged him to announce a relief fund of Rs 2000 crore.
