New Delhi, Oct 02 (ANI): The government has agreed to address majority of issues of farmers after meeting of farmers’ leader and Home Minister Rajnath Singh was held in New Delhi today. “Home Minister Rajnath Singh met the farmers’ leaders and discussed their demands and has reached an agreement on majority of the issues. Farmers’ leaders, UP Ministers Laxmi Narayan ji, Suresh Rana ji and I will go to meet farmers now”, said MoS Agriculture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat today. Thousands of farmers under Bharatiya Kisan Union arrived at Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border and protested demanding loan waivers and reduction in electricity tariff, among others.
