New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered Sardar Vallabhai Patel while addressing Mann Ki Baat on Sunday. PM Modi said in his Mann Ki Baat, “Sardar Patel’s Jayanti this year will be even more special as on this day, we’ll pay him true homage by dedicating ‘Statue of Unity’ to the nation. Located by the banks of river Narmada, the height of this idol is twice that of America’s renowned ‘Statue of Liberty”. Statue of Unity is a monument statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel in Gujarat which will be inaugurated on his birth anniversary on October 31. The 182-metre long statue will occupy over 20,000 square meters, and will be surrounded by a 12 square km artificial lake.
