New Delhi, Oct 26 (ANI): The Supreme Court heard a fresh petition filed by advocate Prashant Bhushan seeking a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe against Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials. Prashant Bhusan said, “After issuing notice in both these petitions, the court has passed interim orders to the effect that the CVC enquiry against Alok Verma would be concluded within two weeks and would be supervised by retired judge of the Supreme Court Justice AK Patnaik.” “The Court also said that the acting Director of CBI M Nageswara Rao will not take any major policy decisions for the time being and all the decisions that he has taken including transfers of officers would be placed in a sealed cover before the court by the government before the next date of hearing,” added Bhusan.
