Nilakkal (Kerala), Oct 17 (ANI): Protest against entry of women in Sabarimala temple turned violent in Kerala’s Nilakkal. Protestors have blocked roads to bar the entry of women. In retaliation, the police started lathi-charge on the protestors and pelted stones at the protestors. The protestors have attacked various women journalists. Protestors from different sections of have been protesting ever since Supreme Court overruled a restrictive tradition running over centuries where menstrual age women were not allowed entry into the temple.
