Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh), Oct 23 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh filed nomination papers from Rajnandgaon for the upcoming assembly elections in the state. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present to support Raman Singh. October 23 is the final date for filing nominations for the first phase of election scheduled on November 12. The polling in Chhattisgarh will be held in two phases to mitigate the risk of violence due to Naxal violence. The notification for the first phase will be issued on October 16, while the last date for nominations would be October 23.
