Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 06 (ANI): Navy officer Commander Abhilash Tomy, who was injured during round-the-world Golden Globe race and was rescued in Indian Ocean, was brought back to Visakhaptnam by Indian Navy today. Commander Abhilash was under medical observation at Ile Amsterdam. He was brought back aboard INS Satpura. Commander Abhilash was stranded after a back injury during endurance race. Commander Abhilash Tomy was rescued from South Indian Ocean, approximately 1900 nautical miles from Perth, Australia. PM Modi also praised Commander Abhilash for his courage during Mann Ki Baat.
