Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), Oct 29 (ANI): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday targeted Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government over unclean Shipra river water even after spending crores in cleaning. Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public gathering in Ujjain said, “Rs 400 crore was spent on cleaning Shipra River but look at this water. If a minister drinks this water, he will fall unconscious.” Shipra River flows through Madhya Pradesh, and is considered one of the sacred rivers in Hinduism.
