Pathanamthitta (Kerala), Oct 17 (ANI): Security has been beefed up in Pathanamthitta as the Sabarimala temple is set to open its doors to women of all age groups today. Total 1000 security personnel, 800 men and 200 women, have been deployed at Nilakkal and Pampa base camp. 500 security personnel have been deployed at Sannidhanam. Sabarimala temple is set to be opened today as Supreme Court in a verdict earlier allowed the entry of women inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
