Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Oct 24 (ANI): Despite a boom in internet and its associated portals, Srinagar is experiencing growth in the old tradition of community book reading culture. With its roots in a rich culture and vast history, Jammu and Kashmir is the hub of discourse and narrative. People are coming out to participate in community discussions in cafes and book clubs. Locals as well as tourists read books over a cup of coffee and indulge in debates and discussions over relevant issues. The in-charge of a book reading centre in Srinagar praised the initiative saying the place always experiences a rush of eager bookworms. Publishers too are enjoying good business because of this boom in the reading culture.
