Tharoor is a criminal, not worth paying attention: Swamy on Swaraj’s UNGA speech

New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran leader Subramanian Swamy on Monday reacted on Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s remark on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) speech. He took potshots at Tharoor by terming him a criminal and said that there is no need to pay any attention on his statements. “He is a criminal, his prima facie proved criminal, he is out on bail and now his bail to be cancelled as a motion for that. How can anyone pay any attention to what he says,” said Swamy. The BJP leader backed EAM Swaraj by saying that she is just following government’s policies. On September 30, Tharoor said that he is disappointed over EAM’s address at the UNGA, her speech was aimed at BJP workers.
