Meerut/ Saharanpur/ Noida (UP), Oct 09 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh government gave Diwali gift to state’s policemen in advance by promoting over 25,000 personnel from Constable to the post of Head Constable. UP Director General of Police Om Prakash Singh has released the order in regard to the promotions, which will include personnel from batches starting 1975 to 2004. The constables in all over the state celebrated this news by offering sweets to each other.
