Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 20 (ANI): In a viral video doing rounds on social media, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Councillor was seen thrashing an Uttar Pradesh police Sub-Inspector in Meerut. An argument between the Sub-Inspector and a waiter at the Councillor’s hotel turned violent. The Sub-Inspector was accompanied by a female lawyer who was also manhandled by the hotel authorities. The Councillor was later arrested under sections 395 and 354.
