Prayagraj (UP), Oct 27 (ANI): On the occasion of Karva Chauth, women were seen offering prayers in Prayagraj’s Sangam River on Saturday. Women flocked markets to put henna tattoos on their hands, buy bangles, jewelries, sweets, sieve, new clothes, and other festive items a day before day-long fasting without water or food for the long life and happiness of husbands. Sometimes, unmarried women join the fast for their fiances.
