Youth in PoK protest against escalating water crisis

Muzaffarabad (PoK), Oct 09: People comprising largely of youngsters of occupied region of PoK took to the streets of Muzaffarabad and other parts of PoK, expressing their anger over the construction of dams in the region and seeking freedom from the decades-long subjugation and occupation of the region by Pakistan. The protests were led by United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP) and its student wing United Kashmir National Students Organisation (UKNSO). Protesters raised slogans like “Jeevey Kashmir Meri Jaan- Bhaar Main Jayea Pakistan” Dariayon par Kabza, Namanzoor which literally translates to “long live Kashmir, go to hell Pakistan and occupation of rivers not allowed”.
