Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 06 (ANI): Four gangmen were mauled by a train in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district. The gangmen were repairing the tracks when they were mauled by Kolkata-Amritsar Akal Takth Express on November 05. The incident took place between Sandila and Umartali stations. Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) Sharad Srivastava said, “We have ordered an inquiry in the incident. Railways will ensure compensation for families of deceased immediately. Rs 25 lakhs compensation is given in such accidents. We’ve suspended a PWI (Permanent Way Inspector).”
