Bengaluru, Nov 09 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers staged protest opposing Tipu Jayanti celebrations which will be observed on November 10. Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) alliance government in Karnataka has decided to go ahead with decision to celebrate erstwhile Mysore king’s anniversary. Tipu Sultan is considered as a freedom fighter by some, while few people accuse him of being a religious bigot.
