Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 17 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inspected Pipraich Sugar Mill in Gorakhpur. The mill was closed 30 years ago and the previous governments had later scrapped the mill. The mill is useful for the sugar farmers and in generating employment. CM Yogi said, “There was a need to start this mill because it is a source of employment opportunities for sugarcane farmers. The mill will start functioning from February 2019. 27 MW of electricity will be produced. The mill will also be useful in running a distillery which would function for the rest of the year.”
