Delhi air quality continues to deteriorate

New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANI): Even after restrictions on burning of firecrackers and marginal effect of stubble burning on the quality of air, the air quality in the national capital continued to deteriorate. According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) data, major pollutant PM 2.5 is at 500 (Severe) and PM 10 at 298 (Poor), in Lodhi Road area. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), many areas in Delhi recorded ‘severe’ air quality and others recorded ‘very poor’. In the wake of deteriorating air quality, heavy and medium goods trucks have been banned till November 11 in the city.
