Delhi’s air quality worsens again, turns ‘severe’

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): The air quality in the national capital had fallen under the ‘severe’ category on Monday. The official data maintained by the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) put the condition at ‘severe’ category. On Air Quality Index (AQI) at Lodhi road, particulate matter (PM) 10 was in ‘very poor’ category whereas PM 2.5 was in ‘severe’ category. An AQI between 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 is satisfactory, 101-200 moderate, 201-300 poor, 301-400 very poor and 401-500 is marked as severe/hazardous.
