New Delhi, Nov 14 (ANI): National Mission for Clean Ganga organised a brainstorming session on world GIS (Geographic Information System) day 2018. The theme of the programme was “G-Governance of Namami Gange programme through Geospatial Technology”. The session brought together decision-makers, technocrats, implementing agencies for an engaging discussion. Application of geospatial technology will monitor and manage a number of activities under project Namami Gange. Geographic Information System is widely used in river basin system. The system is set to give a significant boost to the mission ‘Namami Gange’.
