Kartarpur Corridor: Navjot Sidhu crosses Wagah border amidst criticism

Attari-Wagah Border (Punjab), Nov 27 (ANI): Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu left for Pakistan from the Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar on Tuesday. He is going to Pakistan on an invite from the Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi to attend the ground breaking ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor on November 28. This is Sidhu’s second visit to Pakistan in the same year. First was during the oath-taking ceremony of Pakistan premier Imran Khan on August 18, which drew widespread criticism from across the political spectrum. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu too laid the foundation stone for the construction of Dera Baba Nanak-Kartarpur Sahib road corridor on the Indian side yesterday.
