Yavatmal (Maharashtra), Nov 03 (ANI): A man-eater tigress named Avni or T1 was killed in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal on November 2 for killing 14 people in Pandharkawada forest. The Maharashtra Forest Department had earlier issued shoot-at-sight orders against the tigress. Meanwhile, locals in Yavatmal celebrated Avni’s killing. Post-mortem of the man-eater tigress is to be conducted at Nagpur’s Gorewada Rescue Centre.
