Bengaluru (Karnataka), Nov 15 (ANI): Karnataka government has proposed to erect a 125 feet statute of Mother Cauvery at the Krishna Raja Sagara reservoir in Mandya district. Talking about it, Irrigation and Medical Education Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar said, “It is not exactly a statue, it will be like a tower. The land already belongs to the government and we will be inviting investors to invest in it, no government money will be used. It will be a tourist destination”.
