Guwahati (Assam), Nov 21 (ANI): On the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad on Wednesday, a peace procession was taken out in Assam’s Guwahati to spread message of peace among all communities. The rally was taken out to also celebrate the birth anniversary of the last prophet of Muslims, Prophet Muhammad. According to legends, the Prophet was born in Mecca in 570 CE on the day of Eid-e-Milad. The occasion started from the evening of November 20 and will continue till November 21.
