New Delhi, Nov 07 (ANI): As Diwali has set the festive mood of the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished everyone on the occasion. Taking to his Twitter account, PM Modi wrote, “Happy Diwali! May this festival bring happiness, good health and prosperity in everyone’s lives. May the power of good and brightness always prevail!” The same he also tweeted in Hindi. PM Modi will celebrate Diwali in Kedarnath. People across the country celebrate Diwali by lighting diyas and bursting firecrackers. Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi are worshipped on this day. According to Indian mythology, Lord Vishnu’s avatar Lord Ram returned Ayodhya after defeating the demon Ravana. On his arrival people lighted diyas for his welcome.
