Kedarnath (Uttarakhand), Nov 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Kedarnath Shrine in Kedarnath of Uttarakhand on Wednesday on the occasion of Diwali. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat during his visit. Decorated with flowers, Kedarnath Shrine was a sight to behold. After extensive snow clearing operations, the area was cleared of all signs of snow and security was heightened. The Prime Minister celebrated Diwali this year with Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans and Indian Army at Harsil village in Uttarakhand. It is known as at one of the remotest border places in Uttarakhand.
