Shopian (J&K), Nov 25 (ANI): Just after the encounter between security forces and terrorists on Sunday, the residents of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district pelted stones on the vehicles of security forces. Earlier in the day, at least six terrorists have been gunned down by the security forces during the encounter. A soldier was also killed in a fierce gun battle in Shopian district. Mobile and internet services have been barged in the areas as precautionary measures. Ahead of snowfall and winters firmly setting in, incidents of terror strikes have been on the rise in the state. A joint team comprising Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police were carrying out search operations, when the terrorists opened fired at them, leading to retaliation.
