Hyderabad, Nov 06 (ANI): Sharp shooter Nawab Asghar Ali Khan who shot down ‘man-eater’ tigress Avni, reacting to the petitions filed by NGOs against the killing of the tigress, said on Monday that he acknowledges those who support the cause to not kill a tiger, but in the case of T1 the situation was totally different. Asghar Ali Khan said, “Tiger is our national animal, so I support the people who support the cause not to kill a tiger. I agree with them. But situations are not as you expect it to be. You can get attacked any time. The area where you move where a man eating tiger roams, there is no control. We have captured a man-eating Tiger C1 in Bhramapuri in 2017, we tranquilized it. But in the case of T1 the situation was totally different. In spite of all this, we tried our best, but we couldn’t succeed.”
